The Azenic hand pieces worked well.  The metallic hand pieces at the clinic were inoperable and the ones I brought weren’t compatible with their supply lines. If not for the Azenic hand pieces, the whole trip would have been a disaster from a restorative aspect.

The incorporation of the Azenic Disposable HP has proven an invaluable adjunct in our clinical armamentarium. As the Chief Dental Officer of the largest statewide dental public health organization in Michigan, we are charged with increasing access to care within very tight financial margins for the operation. The Azenic helps us meet that mission in the following manner:

• Reduces staff turn-around time for operatories and equipment. Staffing costs are our highest line item costs, and the Azenic has a positive impact towards the bottom line. Quite honestly more services can be rendered per unit of staff time with an Azenic than without.

• Related to reduced costs is the reduction in equipment costs associated with maintaining a larger inventory of traditional HPs. Honestly most dental offices carry one or two extra HPs that are rarely used just to cover those rare high demand times. The Azenic fits this need perfectly and reduces equipment inventory costs.

• The Azenic is a practice builder by being utilized in those phobic patients who are fearful from an infection control standpoint. We can confidently tell this small niche of patients that the HP that will be utilized on their case hasn’t been used before, and will be disposed of after use on them.

• The Azenic is a wonderful tool in cases of dental surgery requiring bone contouring and tooth sectioning. The rear venting meets our requirements for patient safety in minimizing surgical complications. Its use also negates the staff requirement for the exceptionally high maintenance required with traditional surgical HPs.

We love the Azenic DHP! We are now always using the Azenic DHP to section fixed bridges and for removing crowns. Using a regular hand piece for these procedure ruins the turbine. We now avoid expensive hand piece repairs and the Azenic Disposable hand piece is very economical. We give the Azenic DHP our highest recommendation!

The DHP does what it claims, providing me the cutting power to remove old dental restorations saving the heavy wear on my electric hand pieces, as well as enhancing infection control for certain cases I face. I highly recommend you try one.

With enough torque to cut off even a Zirconia crown, the Azenic DHP handpiece has become a staple in my practice. This little guy packs a mean punch and I highly recommend every dentist have a number of these on hand at all times.
